We had a mermaid, a ladybug and a pirate at our house for Halloween. Kathryn was so fun to be with this Halloween. She knew what to say and to say Thank you and well she was just so cute this year. Charlotte had fun and can now say Candy but I think next year and the next will be even better. I know a lot of people don't like this holiday but come on its so much fun to dress up and eat chocolate.
Kathryn the Mermaid
Carolin the Pirate!
Charlotte the Lady bug!
Ric and Thadius our Home Teachers are Huge Star wars fans.
The Cup Cake walk- Kathryn decided it took to long to get a cupcake and went up and took one anyway. I would have to agree.
Carolin had a lot of fun dressing up. I guess in Germany Halloween is really just a little kid thing. Little did she know that Halloween is definitely a grown up holiday too.
Posing for the camera!
Ghost, Goblin or a Ghoul... No Mermaid, Pirate and Ladybug
Carolin's Jack 0 Lantern
Chiara's Jack O Lantern- can you tell it's Tinkerbell's silhouette?
My Halloween craft this year. I found the wonders of a bleach pen. They turned out pretty good if I say so myself.
Kathryn's first jack o lantern this year. She had lots of fun doing this.
I actually roasted the pumpkin seeds for two pumpkin carving sessions and I cooked up one pumpkin and made homemade pumpkin pie with it. I did two of them and they both turned out really good. Carolin is a fan of pumpkin pie. I haven't perfected it yet but I'll get there.
We took the girls trick or treating in our little half circle neighbor hood and one across from us. Kathryn's pumpkin candy holder got way to heavy for her. lots of good candy to be had. I certainly ate to much. Maybe that's why we all got sick just after Halloween. to much candy!
