Tyler and Kathryn

I went to visit my good friend Jill Cathey yesterday and see her baby boy. He's 3 months older then Kathryn. When we were pregnant Jill would have us rub our bellies together and let them know that this is your future girlfriend/ boyfriend. And now that they are out its been fun the couple times that they've been together to see how they react to each other. Jill sent me some great pictures she got of them. Even one where they grabbed each others hands.
Look at them looking into each other's eye's . So Precious!

One thing though if they get married I think Kathryn will need to go by her middle name Olivia. Kathryn Cathey is just a little to much. ha ha ha

Jill's baby is such a big boy. But then again Kathryn is a big girl.

Isn't he a cutie. Kathryn was being shy for the camera but not Tyler. He was a big ham!!!

He has a really high pitched squeel that he's doing and he scared Kathryn when he did it the first time. Made her cry. hopefully that's the last time he makes my little girt cry. he he he

Standing up

My baby pulled herself up to our coffee table yesterday and walked down it! I think she's seeing her cousin do these types of things and she's become a very fast learner. Last week she was barely even moving and this week she's all over the front room. Her crawl is so funny. She's mostly on her hands and feet. like a monkey. or she is on one knee and scoots the other leg underneath her. So cute!

Sorry the video is so dark next time I'll be sure to have more light on!

Kathryn loves to be outside. So in the afternoons about the hour before Matthew gets home from work we go outside and water the plants and play in the grass. She loves all the sounds and things to look at and the wind in her curls. Its so much fun. And we get to be outside and greet Daddy when he gets home from work.

She didn't eat for awhile cause I thought she was teething but has now started eating good again. Some of my favorite moments with her is when she is eating. and I get to make faces at her and just watch her be such a big girl. I love the baby side and I love the side that makes her look so grown up!

Kash and Kathryn again

I just love going to my sisters house and having our babies play. Kash is now very mobile and climbs over anything laying on the ground. and Kathryn well is not mobile and just sits or lays there while kash climbs all over her. Here are some of the pictures I got of the two of them.
Isn't Kash a handsome little man!

I also want to add just some way cute pictures of my baby since the last time I posted!

Bath Time and the Jumper

So I've never done video before. I hope this works. I found a video setting on my camera. So I thought I would give it a try. Its easier to remember to record on that then get out our little handycam. I'll have to video Kathryn doing all sorts of things now that I have this cool tool on my camera. Like Trying to crawl and ending up going backwards and such.

My baby is now 7 months old. The months just go by so fast. It seems like I just posted her 6 month appointment stats.

One is from Kathryn in the bath tub and the other is at my sisters house in the jumper. She loved that thing. I've got to get me something she can bounce around in. She is my little jumping bean.

Birthday and Anniversary

Fun at the sand dues while we were dating.

My First Birthday Balloon Cake. This was Matt's first present to me on my 25th Birthday. There are actually 25 candles on this cake. I was told Matt was the Lord of Latex. How could I resist!

Fun dating pictures
Christmas Dance in the singles ward.
Our wedding night! Wish I could still fit into that beautiful gown. I loved it!

I LOVE MY MAN! He's the greatest husband and father and friend.

Can't wait for the next year and the rest of our lives!

What wonders will come!
Matt and I had our 2 year anniversary on September 1st. Labor day this year! so Matt didn't have to work. YEAH!

I had my sister watch Kathryn on Sunday night so I can set up a little honeymoon here at home. I made Chocolate covered strawberries, and we played games and I had Hershey kisses on the bed. It was a great night. Not having to worry to much about the baby getting up in the night and being able to sleep in.

Monday morning Matt's uncle knocked on our door and invited us for waffles for breakfast. Then my sister brought Kathryn back and Monday was Matt's day to celebrate. We first did a Rainbow presentation for Matt's Aunt Ann and then Matt gave me my presents for our anniversary and my birthday. He was so thoughtful. My feet have been hurting for the last 8 or so months and I've been to a podiatrist and have found I have Plantar Facities. Well I'm not supposed to be on my feet more then just in a regular day and get inserts and soak my feet in cold and hot water at night. So for my birthday/anniversary I got a foot bath and the insert I've been wanting but have never got around to getting. Its been so much better since then.

Then I got a card that said 3 things.

1. Mary had a little lamb , tasty especially in gyros.
2. Its soft and fluffy and very Tasty
3. Its cold and slushy

All reminiscing the day we got married. We had Greek food catered for our luncheon, and had Cotton candy and Ices at our reception.

Since it was Labor day our places we go for Gyros were closed so we did the next best thing and went to Manuel's the restaurant that we went to on our first official date. 3 years prior.

For my birthday on the 7th we went to my parents for Sunday dinner. The official birthday family dinner will be next Sunday so that we can share it with my niece and older sister.

but they had cupcakes and a Pizza cookie. It was great. I had my brother in law Mike take the pictures. Below you will find out that I will never be letting him be in charge of the pictures. I think I got maybe two good ones.

'thanks Mike'
I didn't get any pictures of the anniversary stuff that I did. I wish I would have thought about that at the time.
See the randomness!

Thought Provoking

So the seriousness of the coming election has been brought to my attention a few times with emails and such getting both sides of the campaign. And I've read a few of some friends blogs giving really good information on how to choose the best candidate. One of them was the saying you shouldn't vote for someone because of just one or two issues you should look at what they are going to do for the economy, health care, education, taxes, the war. But I didn't agree that you should leave out the moral issues that ensues the race leaving that to the states to decide. Same Sex Marriage, and abortion are things that I think are very important in choosing the next leader of our country.

I've read John McCain's website on the issues at hand and I've also been to Barack Obamas website and read about the same issues. Some of them make it sound like Barack will have the best Idea and others McCain. But I just got an email that I have verified some information on that made me think twice about the good things that Barack may have in store.

This was taken from a speech Obama gave at a town hall meeting in Johnstown, Pennsylvania

"When it comes specifically to HIV/AIDS, the most important prevention is education, which should include -- which should include abstinence education and teaching the children -- teaching children, you know, that sex is not something casual. But it should also include -- it should also include other, you know, information about contraception because, look, I've got two daughters. 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby. I don't want them punished with an STD at the age of 16. You know, so it doesn't make sense to not give them information." http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/348569.aspx

I put in the bold words. Having a baby of my own this really affected how I think about this man. A baby is not a punishment they are a gift from God.

What made me look into this was a youtube video that I was sent. I won't put it on here because I can't verify all the facts in it but from what I saw about Infantici Abortions, well it made me sick. Anyone that could let a baby who had survived an abortion should have a chance to live. They are left in the trash to die. Some even up to 8 hours after birth before they are dead. They are even given birth certificates and death certificates. It may not be the best thing for this country for people to be a one issue voter but in this case anyone that doesn't value human life should not be running our country! That would leave him his own will to do what he pleases with us no matter the consequence.

If you want me to send the video just ask. I won't be sending this one out but if you would like to see it just leave me a comment and I'll email it to you.

I hope for our humanity that the right person in elected this November!
