Captured Miracles

So one of my good friends Helen Robson is also one of my favorite photographers and she did a photo shoot called 'Captured Miracles'. Which she portrayed Christ with modern day Children. I was lucky enough to have had the most beautiful baby and she asked if I would let Kathryn be one of the models.

Of course I said yes. I just got the final copy of the ones she is going to be using in her Collection of Kathryn. They are amazing. I am so glad that I have these pictures of Kathryn with Christ. It will be so special to show her when she gets older.

Helen will be having them for sale and having them in exhibits around the world. All proceeds will be going to a Childrens Charity. She would love to have anyone that would be willing to hold an event for her collection to contact her. You can find more information on her blog at rustyhelenrobsonfamily.blogspot.com. She will also have a website just for this cause called. http://www.capturedmiracles.org/ the site is under construction right now.

Here are a few of the others that she has in her collection.

Helen is so talented this is her new baby only 2 hours old.

This is my friend Erika Amezquita and her beautiful boys. This is one of my favorite pictures.

This one is Jason Calvi's, who is protraying Christ, son

D-Backs and Fireworks

My dad got my whole family tickets to Fridays D-backs game. All 3 and up. the babies had to stay home except we thought Kathryn would enjoy the people so we brought her along. She loved it. Stayed up and bouncing around the whole time. There was a baby next to us abour 1 year old and she slept through half the game. Kathryn just loves people. She is our social butterfly.

We had great seats. I like that we could see the whole field. And straight on with the jumbo tron.

Matt carried her in in our snugli. That is the greatest invention!
She really did just watch people all round us.

Jessica held her for awhile but since she's so BOUNCY she really wears you out.

This is her first time seeing Fireworks. We didn't have a chance to see them at the 24th of July in Snowflake or here for the 4th of July. She was memsmorized. It was so fun to see her watch them. I actually feel kind of bad cause I was having fun watching them and my mom had to tap me and tell me to look at my own daughter. Silly me. That was the more important part. She loved them.
We were on the top deck of the stadium and had the best seats in the house to see the fireworks. They opend the top and the side walls. There were beams right in the middle but it was still fun to see the fireworks.

Oh the D-Backs lost 4-5 to the Marlins. I hear the Saturday game was way funner. Winning by a lot. This was a fun family time even if we didn't get to talk to the family as we were all in just one row. Family time is the best time!

My 6 month old Baby

I can't believe Kathryn is already 6 months old. Well actually in another 2 weeks she'll be 7 months so I'm a little behind but still time flies.

A few new things she's doing...

Sitting up on her own

Has Enough hair for me to do piggy tails
Likes her baby food, rice cereal, pears, prunes, applesauce, pea's, carrotts, greenbeans. and even some turkey and chicken if it is mixed in with the other veggies.

Taking good naps, 2 hours in the morning and 2-3 hours in the afternoon depending on how active we are during the day.
She isn't crawling yet but I can put her on her hands and knees for a few seconds before she falls.

She giggles more often, not just at night like she used to.

Talks and sings with me, when I'm singing her to sleep she'll start mimicking me. She'll be a great singer.

Likes to look at herself in the mirror. She knows she's cute!

Sitting up if she's laying on a pillow or in her baby bath tub.

Her 6 month Stats are:

17lbs 11 ozs 75%

26 3/4 inches 80%

Head was in the 60%

She is my big baby! I love it. She is so Adorable. I love her to pieces.

Amish White Bread

So I've been making bread lately so we don't have to buy it. I tried a new recipe I found online today. It tastes so yummy but who doesn't like hot bread out of the oven.

Yields: 24 servings

"This recipe will give you two loaves of plain, sweet white bread that are quick and easy to make."
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees
C)
2/3 cup white sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons active dry yeast 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 cup vegetable oil
6 cups bread flour

DIRECTIONS:
1. In a large bowl, dissolve the sugar in warm water, and then stir in yeast. Allow to proof until yeast resembles a creamy foam.
2. Mix salt and oil into the yeast. Mix in flour one cup at a time. Knead dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Place in a well oiled bowl, and turn dough to coat. Cover with a damp cloth. Allow to rise until doubled in bulk, about 1 hour.

3. Punch dough down. Knead for a few minutes, and divide in half. Shape into loaves, and place into two well oiled 9x5 inch loaf pans. Allow to rise for 30 minutes, or until dough has risen 1 inch above pans.
4. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes.

There are 513,704 people in the U.S. with the first name Heather.
Statistically the 104th most popular first name.
There are 21,341 people in the U.S. with the last name Weir.

Heaton Family Reunion

Every year we have a Heaton Family reunion at the family Ranch in Southern Utah. About an hour north of Kanab. Its our little heaven on Earth.

There is two ponds, an A-Frame cabin, the big house, and the little cabin that right now is split in two. Their in the process of moving it to a place with a better foundation.

Lots of pictures to follow.

Every year someone kills a Rattle Snake. This one had 11 notches on its Rattle.

The work this year was cutting down some braches on a huge tree over the big house. This is them splitting logs. The Big house

My dad is being thrown in the pond. He was the oldest to be thrown in this year. My Aunt Maxine was last year. She turned 81 this year.

This is Keiko one of my Cousins Kids. She really Flew!

Me being thrown in My Happy Baby! Silly Rory possing for the camera!
Mandy making people think she's holding a water snake but is not.
The A Frame!

Kathryn loved being outside and in the grass. Isn't she adorable.

My Heaton Family statitics that I know of.
My Grandparents had 10 children.
My Aunts and Uncles had together 65 kids. Meaning I have 59 first cousins. I'm number 61 and my youngest sister is the last number 65.
I don't have a number of the next generation but I know its well over 200.
and then the next generation is about 100 I think.
I LOVE having a big family and that we are so close.
with a Big family reunion everyear and then a small one with just my first cousins in October.
So much fun!

Pioneer Day/ Jewerly

So my husband is an entrepreneur and wants me to be one to. I like to think of myself as one but not to the extent he is. He has been looking at this Auction website and decided that since I like jewelry that he would get a big lot of necklaces and earrings for me to sell. So our first selling experience was in Snowflake for their 24th of July Celebration. Its a huge deal up there. Big parade and carnival and booths that I thought was just from people that are from there but people come up there from all over the valley because its such a big deal. a few thousand people come up to snowflake just for this occasion.

Well we got a both and went to work. It was fun. Matt did Balloon animals. He did it to keep our change drawer but people were giving him big bills as well. We got really sunburned and hot. I was so thankful that a storm came in a couple hours early on Saturday. I was so ready to be done.

The wagon pulled by horses. Just right for the occasion.

Kathryn was with us for a lot of it. She was sitting in her car seat for a little of it and a lady walked through and saw her move and was taken back cause she said " I thought that was a doll".
At the parade

We sold about 1/4 of the supply that we have but it paid for about 1/2 of them. So now I have to come up with some ways to get rid of the last bit of them. My family suggests doing a jewelry party at their houses and mine. I think I'll try that. The first one is going to be with my sister Joanna at her house in Maricopa. She bought a lot of them and all her friends out there just love them.

So a notice will go out for a party in Maricopa soon as well as a Scentcy Candle party. My sister Jessica does that. And 20% of what I sell I'm going to donate to Joanna's fund for the Susan G Koman 3Day walk for the cure. My Mom, Rachel and Joanna are all doing the walk and have to all earn $2200 each to be able to do the walk.

So if anyone wants to have a jewelry party for a cause of some sort of just to have one I'd be willing to come over and have a little party. The Prices range from $3.00 for some of the beaded ones to $25.00 for the Chokers. All have a necklace and earrings.

Rory is my Model for some of the pieces.

I have a few of the Crystal ones.

Most of them are beads and shell.

Also some Chokers.
