Birthday Gift for my sister Rachel
SOLD - I really liked this one. I did the straps differently. I liked the way this turned out.
My First bag
I started making purses a few years back when I was in the singles ward. Last year I made one for each of my sisters and mother for their birthdays. I think its fun. I made a few more in the last few days and I know some of you have asked for pictures of them so here you go.
The Capri Sun bag was a gift to me from my friend Amber Heywood. I'm sure she would love to show anyone how to make one of these awesome bags.
Mine are the perfect size for a couple books. I've used mine for scriptures to carry at church. I haven't perfected a pocket on the inside yet so for now they are just an open purse. They are reversible. These last ones I just bought some of the 1/4 pieces from Joanns. I could custom make one for you if you get me the pieces. I need 3 different 1/4 pieces. One for the inside and two for the outside, sides and bottom. and 3/4 yards of iron on interfacing to make the bag hold itself up. Unless you use heavier fabric then you won't need the interfacing. If you buy the materials I would do it just for the time it takes for $12.00.
I'm selling these bottom three for $20.00 if anyone is interested in them.

This one has a short strap. Also different then what I've done in the past but its a really nice length for a hand bag.
