My baby boy Bryce

 My sweet boy. he's 2 months old in these.  Man he's grown a lot in the last month.    

 

This photo shoot was supposed to be for him but it totally ended up being one or Kathryn but oh well.  We got a few good ones of my sweet baby.

Don't you just love baby toes!

He is such a good sleeper.  Last night he actually slept all night.  Well I put him to bed at 11 but he didn't get up till 7:30!  I was so rested.  It would have been perfect if Charlotte didnt' wake up with a bad dream of a lion eating her shirt. 

Oh man I can't get over the fact I have a baby boy.  He's wonderful.

I'm so blessed.  I have three wonderful kids.   Bryce is so happy, starting to gurgle and make fun noises,  He laughs and smiles a lot when he's not sleeping.  He Eats good and is an all around wonderful boy.  Lets keep it up Bryce. 

Charlotte Is an Angel!

 Look at my beautiful Charlotte.  Isn't she just like an Angel!   I can totally see the bruise she got on her forehead a few days before this picture.  Just shows how much fun she always has. 

 There was a inflatable dinosaur there that Charlotte wanted to play with the whole time.   Thats all she wanted to do.    At least we got a few good shots without the dinosaur!

Charlotte is 2.5  in this picture.  She's getting so big.    She's so smart, talkative and sassy.   She's gotten into saying to me, 'I'll never leave you'  and 'I love you so much'  She really loves sitting on my lap lately.  Maybe it's a little jealousy of her baby brother but I'll take it! 

 

She tested as a 3.5- 4 year old cognitively at her developmental exam for the MOMS study!  Way to go Charlotte.   You are defeating the odds with every stride!

Isn't Kathryn a beautiful little girl?!!   Love her 

 She was a photo shoot star.  She just kept moving and putting her hands up to her face and the photographer just did shot after shot of Kathryn.  She is a up and coming photographer that has a studio in her house.  So Kathryn helped her along as she didn't seem to know exactly how to pose us so Kathryn just took over. 

My precious Kathryn.   I can't get over the fact that she will be 5 next week and just keeps getting smarter, taller, talkative, and just a good girl.  She really does now how to take care of us all.  My little mommy in the making. 

I had a baby! It's a Boy

Here I am going in to have a baby that morning.   scheduled c-sections are so nice that way.  NO pain just walking in like I'm checking into a hotel for a few days. 

 

 So having the c-section isn't the greatest feeling.  I remember things with Bryce that I don't remember happening with  Charlotte.  Like smelling burning , which I was nervous about cause I thought it was coming from my Oxygen mask ah ah  but no that was them burning my skin to cauterize the bleeding.   And all the tugging and pulling.  You'd think a baby cut out would just come out..  nope.  And then after he was out I felt like they sat on my chest  which Matthew said they kind of did.  I almost couldn't breathe while they pushed and squished the placenta out.   Nice I know!

 

  But out he came and we was perfect.   Big boy for a month early!    He got down to 6.8 at the hospital and dropped a few more ounces after but he's gaining now!

 

 Isn't he so precious?  He's exactly like his sisters and me.  Sorry Matthew I guess my genes are a bit stronger then yours are!

 Our first meeting.   At least it was within the first 10 minutes this time.  With Charlotte it was 6-7 hours!

 

My mom came to be with me that first week.  I couldn't have done it without her. My kids loved having Grandma here and I loved having someone to cry with and love me even in the midst of my crazy mood swings of can I do this...   

His first sponge bath.  And yes he was jaundice.  I see that perfectly in his pictures.  That was a nightmare in it self all the blood tests and such... 

 He's wonderful!

This ones for Jill

Ok so I'm painfully behind on my blog.  My friend Jill ever so politely said so .  I know I know you who don't follow me on Facebook are saying what you had your baby and you didn't say anything.  Well here you go I had a baby boy on October 18th  we named him Bryce Matthew He weighed 7 lbs.    He is a delight to us all!

A little Randomness of the Summer

Charlotte and Kathryn are little characters most of the time.  Charlotte likes to pick or rather just stick her fingers in her nose and Kathryn well likes to do anything that makes us laugh.    I love the cross eyed look with the fingers in her nose.    Oh and Kathryn using her middle fingers.  These are priceless!

Kathryn got to have a sleep over with her Cousin Savannah when she came out the first of July.   They stayed up till almost midnight watching movies.  El Dorado and Little Mermaid.    I can't believe Kathryn stayed up the whole time.   We had lots of fun with Savannah.  We need more visitors.

We got to go to the Air and Space Museum and well this is certainly my favorite plane in the whole building.  The Space Shuttle is amazing but I love the stealthy look of this airplane!

Kathryn and I got our Hair done by my favorite stylist and long time friend Jill Cathey.  She has done my hair for more then 10 years.  I am so sad I don't get to go see her every few months for a new do.   Since Kathryn cut her own hair awhile back I had her even it out.  Kathryn loves getting her hair done.  Jill even washes it for her.  That's my favorite part.

And my hair.  It had been almost a year since my last hair cut and well I wanted it even shorter then she did the summer before.  And I have to say I LOVE it.  It's been two months and I already want it cut again.  I really need to find someone I love here to do my hair.  Anyone in Centreville have a hairdresser that they love!    I sent this picture to Matthew and he thought I looked Sexy! 

 We Went bowling with all the grand kids but the three youngest.   Charlotte and Kathryn are already pro bowlers from the Spina Bifida Bowling parties we've been to so they knew what to do.   It was fun being with all my family!

We did a few experiments with absorption.  This one was fun cause we got to make purple water from the blue and red water on either side.  It took all night for it to actually finish absorbing but it was worth it.  Kathryn was seriously fascinated.

 This one was just to see if we could get the water to be level in both cups by having it absorb up the paper towel into the empty cup.  This one also took all night to complete.

The paper towel was fun we just colored on it with markers then put the ends in water and watched the colors crawl up the paper towel.

We made two Christmas decorations like this. We painted them red and green  and put sparkles on them.  They turned out really good.

We've done some fun things this summer.  I just need to get caught up on my blogging.  one day at a time!
