It's Over

I am no longer safe to have Kathryn stay in her crib. Two days ago I put her down for a nap and 30 minutes later after I here her playing around in her crib I her a knock on her door from the inside. I either left the window open and someone is in there or she climbed out of her crib. Luckily it was the later.

It's over for me. No where to put her to keep her enclosed. What am I supposed to do???

haha. no where now. We moved Spencer into a toddler bed when he was 14 months old. The other kids we moved to a twin mattress on the floor between 12 and 16 months.

Let the fun times begin! :) We took the front off of our kid's crib usually before they were a year. Sad that they grow up so fast!

ha ha! NOw begins the real discipline. You'll have to remove toys and everything for a little bit and put her in her crib and even if she gets out and cries or bangs on the door, just open it and put her back in the crib. You might have to do this a lot of times, but she'll soon get the idea it's time for nap. And don't worry if she sleeps on the floor a couple times! GOOD LUCK

Well, I never used the crib for my kids but my friend actually has a crib "net" that actually ZIPS and completely encloses the child and keeps them from climbing out. She has never had a problem. Her THREE year old STILL sleeps in the crib!

I'm just glad Kash hasn't done this yet. He's climbing all over everything else now, (thanks to watching Kathryn) but he hasn't figured out the crib yet. We have everything to transfer him to the toddler bed, but I don't want to until he climbs out on his own.
